During the corona pandemic, there is a food truck in the parking lot with delicious offers such as bean stew with smoked pork, backed potetos with sour cream, pulled porg burgers, homemade meatballs and so on. Everything made in the kitchen and delicious. Even the restrooms of the restaurant can be used by the snack guests. This is service !!!

First time there, and immediately convinced, keep it up.

Hello everybody, Unfortunately the restaurant is currently closed. BUT just stop at the “snack truck” outside in the parking lot! The dishes are really all ready / you don't have to wait / really tasty & prices are completely ok. Today I ate a goulash soup for 5 € with 2x bread - it was great. Bring your own spoon if you don’t feel like using wooden spoons 😊

When I arrived I was surprised to see so american style place with horse's and people. Truly western style. Great for visiting. Enjoy.

REGULAR GUESTS lost forever in just 2 minutes after 13 years ... A shame ... we've been coming to the Western Inn for 13 years now - to this day: The so-called owner and founder Dagmar Großer, on a hint that a mouse is running around right next to our table in the guest room, complements us with the words, "... then I'll have the bill brought to you ...", although we are only just now who had received the drinks and our food order was still in progress shocked us so deeply that we were literally speechless. Yes, you read that right: in what is said to be a famous and best steakhouse in East Germany like the Western Inn in Scharfenberg between Meißen and Cossebaude near Dresden, mice are walking around in the dining room right next to the kitchen and the owner, Ms. Großer, has none in the times of Corona more hospitable reply than the one above. We did not receive expected responses or reactions such as an apology, an offer of another seat or the like, instead we had to hear that lying in the country and on the ground floor (in the closed guest room, mind you) was normal and that the mice would take a walk would have created. My mind almost stopped at this statement. We can no longer recommend the Western Inn, the personal situation and the tense atmosphere paired with a so-called owner who alienates her paying guests in a way is not worth visiting. On top of that, living mice now seem to be part of the interior. The fact that guests feel annoyed with it or find it disgusting when they eat a high-quality dish at a handsome price in the company of living roaming mice does not seem to bother. We are curious what the health department has to say about it.

Cool here. Authentic American restaurant. There is a little wanderlust. The "waitresses" are friendly and attentive. The food is very good, freshly prepared, plentiful and tastes delicious. The quality of the food is also very good. The American ambience, the outdoor facilities and the details are great. Child-friendly, including a playground, is also here. Well worth a detour.

So far everything was perfect, service, food and accommodation. At most, the traffic on the main road right next to it could disturb one or the other. The associated riding stables also run a bread paddock, which I personally like very much.

Super nice service, food is great, local is nice and cozy. Toilets are clean except for the spiders, please remove them from time to time. Keep it up. Lg

The Western Inn is cozy, friendly and something special. The menu is varied, the food is delicious, the hospitality is charming. We would love to come back. :-)

Somehow a great place, we felt transported to America for a short time! Food perfectly okay if you like fried potatoes and mighty burgers ... we were also very amused by the decoration (peanut shells on the floor)! just do it ...

Great set up. Food was delicious. But even though I'm a real sauce fan, the cheeseburger just had too much sauce on it. But the meat and fries were good. The western pan was delicious too. The idea of ​​the flags that you have to hoist when you want to order something is great (I already know from other restaurants), but unfortunately it didn't always work out here. Despite the flag hoisted, the landlord did not come to the table when he came into the room to see if anyone else would like something. Although we were previously advised that waving does not help here. ;-)

Pooh, where do I start? So our room was very nice, even if the warm water in the shower only came after 30 minutes: D The terrace is awesome, with a view of the Elbe and the two riding arenas. Anyone who loves horses is definitely in good hands here, the trainers are all very nice. Breakfast, whether the cowboy breakfast or breakfast as a hotel guest, is delicious and rich. If you want to eat American food, the food was very awesome, our burgers were still really juicy, not as cooked to death as with the two big chains. The farmer pan was delicious too, as was the pasta with salmon. Drinks priced OK, 4 € for a 0.5l beer, I've had more expensive: D The staff always friendly, nice and courteous, here again greetings to Lydia: D

All in all an OK place. If you like the old wild west you'll enjoy it.

Super, super friendly service, I found the food to be reasonably priced but great, and a great flair. I come from Bavaria and when I'm around here, I'll stop by again, I can recommend it to anyone who wants something different. In short, simply TOP.

Have come here on the bike tour. We already liked the exterior. Coupling with horses everywhere is already our world. So we stopped off. We were only in the beer garden and only drank, but we liked what we were able to look at. So we are guaranteed to come to test the food.

We had a great evening at the Western Inn today. There was a lot going on and the team was clearly challenged. Nevertheless we were served calmly and very friendly. The food was very good and the price reasonable. You should try the house wine and it was great fun to try the Mescal (with worm) :) We will definitely be back !!!!

Fabulous: an unexpectedly authentic experience with finger-lickin' good spare ribs, coleslaw, onion rings and potato wedges and an unbeatably warm and friendly welcome. A real gem!

Absolutely delicious food. The Western ambience has been thought out, decorated and lived in all places and with many small details. Priced in order. Meat quality very good. Service very friendly and also here was not forgotten to present in the western style.
